Great find here in ABQ especially when ready for a changeup from red or green sauce?!? Happening atmosphere, great wait staff taking care of you and attentive, food served fast and the drinks faster! The Guinness beef Boxty was delicious - maybe the pancake a bit over cooked? Suggestion by waitress to just get the half order was spot on - it's still HUgE!!! Double that would have been ludicrous,,, Get here early, it was 5:20pm on a Wednesday and already filling up!!

This is a family favorite for me. My son adamantly maintains that this is the best fish and chips he's ever had, and who am I to argue with the palate and appetite of a 16 year-old boy? Aside from his glowing review, I find their selection of whiskey, both domestic and foreign, to be extensive, as well as the usual choice of solid beers and ciders from the UK on tap. Food is solid, and the portions are generous. I recommend getting a pint or an old fashioned and an order of the cottage pie while you soak in the ambiance of a classic Irish pub, which is especially cozy in the winter with the fireplace blazing. I often see the owner/ manager there bussing and serving as well, which is always a good sign. Definitely recommend!

I recently visited two fools for the first time with three other friends. We actually were going someplace else but the business was closed so we decided to try two fools. The place is fairly small inside. When we arrived about 4:00 p.m. on a Wednesday it was pretty dead but by the time we left at 6:00 there was a line out the door. The portions are very generous. The food prices are reasonable. Although, I have to admit that $25 for fish and chips is quite on the expensive side. Most of us got appetizers and desserts. We were happy with our drinks customer service the food the prices the quantity. We would definitely go back and I would definitely recommend it

This a lovely place for a jet lagged traveler in need of a perfect pint (one of the best I've had in a long time) served with a smile and good hearty Irish fare with a twist. Friendly staff. Amicable bartender who poured that perfect pint and a lovely plate of Guinness Beef Stew. Well I'm a happy lad.

What isn't to love.. You can't go wrong with the food, ambience and service.. Total pun intended, but you are a fool to not give this place a try!

More often than not, I find fish and chips highly disappointing. Fryer was the wrong temp, the batter is poor, the fish isn't fresh, or the portion of fish is small while they give me two potatoes' worth of mediocre fries. (I personally like frites and rarely like other fries, so I wish fish n' salad or fish n' soup would catch on, but I ADHD-digress ) NOT HERE. I've been three times on three separate visits to Albuquerque over a period of 2 years...and the fish is always PERFECT. Big portion (and you can add a piece for extra charge if you've got a big appetite.) And the fries are good (probably great if you like them more than I do!) I've also had the Guinness beef stew, which was really tasty (and I'm not usually a big stew person, either.) But I don't get to go often, so it's hard to move past the delicious fish n' chips! Solid service, generally speaking, sometimes excellent. And the pub itself is pleasant and clean.

In my opinion Two Fools is one of the best restaurants in town. They almost always have a wait, but the wait is totally worth it. I've tried numerous things on their menu but their fish and chips is the best in town. The batter is amazing and the portions are huge. I love their massive bar and huge selection of whisky from all over the world.
